  • Overview

    The Operational Sales Support Specialist ensures that the field sales people have everything at hand to ensure efficient push to reach the company goals. This includes among other coordination with demostration equipment, trade shows, accurate and timely information at hand to support customers.


    Essential Functions

    • Ensure all sales people have adminstrative support regarding orders, demonstration equipment.
    • Assist to ensure access to hospital locations
    • Update sales database and support process to add additional contacts.
    • Outbound prospecting calling
    • Create and send invoices to customers for orders delivered
    • Follow up with customers to ensure paymets are received (A/R)
    • Expedite expense reports for payment
    • Performs a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another
    • Adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
    • Ability to interact appropriately with colleagues for different purposes in different contexts
    • Able to adjust to variable volume of work


    Knowledge, Skill and Experience

    • 2 Years of relevant work experience
    • High School/GED required, Associates degree preferred
    • Proficient in Microsoft office, Experience with Database Management Systems
    • Attentive to details working with concurrent tasks & frequent interruptions.
    • Effective verbal & written communication with professional appearance
    • Problem solving & reasoning
    • Dependable, punctual and reliable; Able to work under pressure to meet deadlines


    Physical & Visual Acuity Requirements

    • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
    • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
    • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
    • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
    • Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
