The Regional Audiologist - Government Services works with their Account Managers to focus on new accounts, declining accounts, new product buyers, accounts that attend seminars, follow up on their account visits to increase market share. The role requires making pro-active outgoing telephone calls assisting with fitting, fine-tuning and product selections. They are responsible for emailing Clear Slides to their accounts with the focus on the Dabbler segment and following up with phone calls and emails to grow this important segment. They will be attending the National VA Customer Seminars including JDVAC and travelling with their Account Managers when needed to grow a specific clinic.

This position is located on-site at our Headquarters in Somerset, NJ. 


  • Provides outbound telephone support focusing on new accounts, dabblers, and declining accounts.
  • Makes outbound phone calls educating customers on new products, accessories and technologies on contract.
  • Conducts outbound follow up phone calls with accounts to ensure first fit is a success, basic competencies in dispensing high end products and to improve fitting competency skills.
  • Communicates weekly with Account Manager to assure that everyone has the necessary information on the activity of the customers by documenting all phone calls and contacts through CRM system.
  • Participates in monthly regional phone call with Account Manager, National Manager and Regional Audiology Manager to strategize territory opportunities.
  • Attend monthly one on one session with Regional Audiology Manger to focus on call recordings, challenges, success, projects, etc.
  • Attend monthly team meeting with Regional Audiology group to focus on specific topics such as Sales Processes, Cochlear Implant updates, best practices, phone skills training, etc.
  • Ensures a positive Oticon experience with every contact to develop long term customer relationships


  • M. A. or AuD Audiologist Degree required\

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the profession and hearing aid dispensing experience.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook

  • Experience working in the VA/Govt systems and knowledge of their ROES system preferred.

  • Travel is required.
