Overview

The Key Account Audiologist position is responsible for training and supporting sales development plans at Costco Hearing Aid Centers, US. This individual will work with Costco Hearing Aid Center hearing care professionals and staff to provide product training and support activities to improve Bernafon’s product mix and overall channel presence. The Key Account Audiologist will work in our office in Somerset, NJ and will provide a high level of technical product training and customer service phone support to Costco Hearing Aid Centers.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and conduct phone and webinar product & fitting software training and support of Bernafon products with Costco hearing care professionals to improve their dispensing and fitting proficiencies
  • Conduct outbound phone calls to Costco Hearing Centers to support and excite hearing care professionals to fit and dispense Bernafon hearing products
  • Advice and educate Costco hearing care professionals on Bernafon products, as well as provide general hearing product and fitting expertise
  • Answer and respond to inbound phone calls and received email messages to fulfill requested support
  • Establish solid working relationships with Costco hearing care professionals and staff
  • Work with Bernafon regional sales team to plan and conduct Costco Hearing Aid Center training and support activities
  • Provide customer interaction and activity reports to Bernafon management
  • Maintain effective time management schedule for optimum productivity
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills to analyze problems, determine approach, and achieve desired results
  • Ensure that all work processes comply with Bernafon regulatory, legal, and ethical requirements
  • Have solid understanding of company and customer operations, systems, policies, and procedures
  • Travel as needed and requested
  • Perform all other related duties as required and requested

Qualifications

  • Expertise in hearing product fitting and dispensing
  • Strong interpersonal skills to persuade and build rapport and confidence with customers and co-workers
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong public speaking and presentation skills
  • Exhibit consistent, regular and punctual attendance
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced and demanding work environment where strong organization, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills are required
  • Work is generally of a complex, critical and/or confidential nature where a positive attitude, independent action, and a high degree of initiative are essential
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; ability to type on  a computer keyboard
  • Strong math and analytical skills
  • Self-initiative
  • Positive attitude and team player

 

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
