We are fast growing hearing health care firm and are seeking a well-rounded, seasoned and up-coming matured leader to shape and build our marketing analytics function

     

    Reporting to the Vice President, Marketing, and working closely with Sales and Operational leadership, the Director will manage a team of analysts and external analytical agency in analyzing marketing campaigns and shaping the marketing strategy. The director will provide strategic thought leadership, build analytical roadmaps, and a strong analytical team and function that will help in optimizing marketing campaigns and marketing spend. Director must have a strong blend of strategy, analytics and prior client facing and management experience. In a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment, this individual will be responsible for establishing baselines in a marketing, nurturing a culture of test & learn, reports out on marketing program measurement and effectiveness, assesses marketing and business opportunities, synthesizes and communicates cross-concept and omni-channel customer insights. They will also develop segmentation studies based on consumers/channel/price preference and will be integral in transforming the way that the Organization consumes and reacts to customer data. This position will have the opportunity to develop strategies, present findings and share insights with multiple business leaders throughout the organization including Operations and Sales, etc.

     

    Analytic focus includes direct marketing, customer and competitive intelligence, digital marketing and CRM.

    Responsibilities

    • Analytical:
      • Analyze data to provide strategic recommendations on marketing initiatives
      • Develop and maintain marketing dashboard – tracks marketing spend, forecast, calls, appointments, purchases, revenue and other key KPIs
        • Provide insights to Marketing and other business partners through analysis of revenue, sales conversion and yield data to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness of our Marketing and Business operations
      • Analyze direct, digital and offline marketing campaign performance:
        • Shape targeting, segmentation and test designs for direct marketing programs across direct mail, email, outbound phone and select digital channels. Analyze performance of campaigns and test and learn plan
        • Calculate incremental lift from direct marketing campaigns
        • Digital marketing analytics including web analytics and paid media targeting, analysis, and optimization
        • Analyzes and reports on traditional media placements such as TV, Radio, YP, etc.
      • Clearly understand and articulate financial, statistical and economic concepts
      • Build analytical vision and roadmap for the organization
      • Works with analysts in developing targeting models and frameworks to acquire new customers, retain and nurture existing customer base resulting in loyalty and advocacy.
      • Familiarity in building multi-touch / omni-channel attribution and media mix modeling capabilities
      • Thinks holistically. Ability to operate hands on with data and able to see the big strategic picture
      • Build insightful and strategic decks for senior leadership
      • Execution and Teamwork:
      • Experience in building, managing and mentoring analytical team and agency required. Values personal and professional growth of team members
      • Lead multiple large, complex projects across inter-disciplinary teams including marketing, operations and sales
      • Collaborate and ideate with channel managers and program managers as necessary
      • Be innovative: Develop best practices for measurement and analytics. Socialize and gain consensus
      • Works closely with program and channel managers in shaping marketing strategy by providing timely and analytical insights
      • Be a thought leader and a change agent on analytics for existing and emerging marketing channels and tactics

    Qualifications

      • Minimum 8 analytical experience
      • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Economics / Business or Marketing
      • MBA or MS highly preferred
      • Experience managing a team of analysts is a must.
      • Experience measuring direct mail, email, CRM and digital marketing performance required.
      • Hands-on experience with advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills including pivot tables, lookups, etc. required
      • Experience with 1:1 marketing, targeted marketing is required.
      • Modeling and Segmentation experience a plus.
      • Hands on experience with SQL, SAS and Predictive Modeling highly desirable
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability of communicating complex ideas across multiple functions and levels internally
      • Experience with R, Tableau and other statistical and data visualization tools highly desirable
      • Problem solving mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
      • Experience in predictive modeling / machine learning desirable
      • Past experience working in management consulting or marketing analytics highly desirable
