Overview

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategy, development and management of all affinity partnerships within the company including but not limited to independent or cause related organizations, associations, clubs, etc.
  • Develop marketing plan that will support strategy and program objectives.
  • Work with senior management and marketing teams to develop program guidelines, process, and materials required for partnership presentations.
  • Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of programs to optimize their performance.
  • Work to optimize programs for accelerated revenue growth, and increased profitability.
  • Create and maintain communication materials to support the program.  Communicate to sales management constituents to optimize in-field execution and partnerships.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all partnerships are executed with accuracy with all elements that are required including, but not limited to: definition of projects, meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, analysis and tracking/monitoring procedures. Responsibilities are sometimes dependent on internal and external partners which need to be considered an element to the position.
  • Independently manage promotions from problem identification/conception to completion with periodic input from sales management and key marketing team members.
  • Drives implementation of operational plans by engaging external agencies, internal cross-functional partners.
  • Elicit and analyze information for our Business Intelligence BI tools.
  • Prepare, publish and provide commentary for standing reports and dashboards against program forecasts.
  • Provide clear description of problems/issues and recommended resolution of program non-conformances for Senior Management and the Marketing Team.
  • Adhere to internal documentation, processes, protocols and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and work experience in related field
  • Retail affinity partnership experience
  • 5+ years experience with retail marketing
  • Ability to influence and work with internal business partners on strategic objectives and challenges
  • Energetic and positive attitude to work with varying stakeholders and get them through to the “final mile” of action and outcomes
  • Strategic thinker with ability to formulate, develop and execute business-building strategies
  • Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills  
  • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to present self professionally and intelligently to internal clients/colleagues
  • Experience with MS Office
