Position Overview


The Marketing Account Executive is responsible for supporting Oticon customer’s execution of consumer marketing actions and utilization of the DRIVE Program. This includes assisting, developing, and executing marketing initiatives for Oticon's customers. This involves daily contact with customers by phone and e-mail, and occasional in-person visits, to determine their marketing needs. The Marketing Account Executive will work with customers to develop traditional and digital marketing plans and calendars, assist in creative production of marketing materials, and implement marketing campaigns.





  • Coordinate and execute consumer marketing actions with newspapers, mail fulfillment and digital marketing companies for targeted customers
  • Educate customers on Oticon's consumer marketing support program
  • Support the development and execution of Marketing Plans in close coordination with individual sales manager for targeted accounts
  • Work with external vendors and hearing care professionals to customize consumer marketing programs.
  • Work cooperatively with the Marketing Department and Consumer Marketing Associates from the other regions to have consistent consumer campaigns across the country.
  • Communicate the progress of consumer marketing campaigns to sales regions to help them manage their accounts and increase their knowledge level of consumer marketing.
  • Compile tracking data from all customer events in a timely manner, record in CRM and make recommendations for future marketing activities
  • Administration of customer requests on reimbursement for marketing activities
  • Manage the marketing efforts for assigned clients with great attention to detail and focus on client and internal goals.
  • Proactively work with accounts to develop and implement marketing strategies across different marketing mediums.
  • Communicate new marketing programs and materials to clients as developed.
  • Participate in client meetings and training courses. 
  • Maintain a working partnership with sales staff to determine priority clients for marketing support.
  • Work with internal team members to ensure new projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Work with preferred vendors and programs for creative production, demographic reports and campaign tracking.







  • BA/BS in Business required; Marketing, Advertising or Communications is preferred
  • 2-3 years of marketing or comparable business experience in a corporate marketing or agency environment; Account management and experience with building customer relationships
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers, corporate marketing, sales team and vendors.
  • Experience in direct marketing, advertising, digital marketing, and social media preferred
  • Knowledgeable with database, campaign tracking/measurement reporting tools.
  • Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects under deadline pressure
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
