Position Overview

The Consumer Marketing and Public Relations Manager will be an integral part in driving consumer awareness, interest, and engagement with Oticon and Oticon products and services. The ideal candidate can work collaboratively with the Consumer Marketing team to assist in planning, directing, and coordinating the marketing of the Oticon’s products and services.



  • Manage day-to-day implementation of consumer marketing and PR communication plans for Oticon and Oticon products and services
  • Serve as consumer marketing/PR liaison with product managers, sales force, digital team and design group
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with external creative agency partners, directing them in the execution and amplification of marketing activity
  • Work with consumer agencies on research/testing new concepts & channels
  • Compile and manage annual PR events calendar for product/services press releases, white papers, events, speaking engagements, conferences, trade shows, etc.
  • Manage production process and production timelines for marketing materials, coordinating work-in-progress reviews and providing actionable feedback to content owners/creators
  • Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of market plans for consumer marketing activities
  • Monitor/track and report on PR initiatives and consumer campaigns ROI and effectiveness
  • Attend Creative Briefings and provide feedback and direction
  • Facilitate communication of consumer campaigns, results and accomplishments to staff and customers
  • On-site support for corporate conferences, trade shows and other external events


  • Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, multi-faceted business environment
  • Excellent customer service and consultative skills over the phone and face to face
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong project management skills and problem-solving skills to oversee production workflow, timelines and schedules; ability to manage priorities against tight deadlines
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with sales team, vendors, PR and Advertising agencies
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups
  • Familiarity with campaign tracking/measurement reporting tools
  • Must be able to work independently, be organized and self-motivated with attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20% of the time


Education And/Or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business or marketing, PR and/or communications preferred
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of business experience, corporate communications, consumer marketing, or a combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with PR and Advertising agencies preferred
  • Experience selling or marketing in the healthcare industry is preferred
  • Proficient with and high-level usage of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel
