Overview

Supports sales representatives in administrative areas such as order processing, sales quotes, sales information management, product training and financing. Tracks transactions and prepares reports regarding information such as order status, sales results, leads, sales quotas and sales representative earnings. Maintains customer database information and generates specific reports. Ensures execution of marketing activities for direct mailers, maintains social media and website. Ensures appropriate materials and documentation is at location for all shows.

Responsibilities

  • Supports sales representatives and channel partners in administrative areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training and financing
  • Responsibilities are within the Sales Support and Administration Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
  • Provides customer services relating to sales, marketing, customer inquiries, suggestions, installations and communications
  • Ensures that good customer relations are maintained and customer claims and complaints are resolved fairly, effectively
  • Resolves customer inquiries and complaints fairly and effectively
  • Provides product and service information to customers and identifies upselling opportunities to maintain and increase income streams from customer relationships
  • Recommends and implements programs to support customer needs
  • Provides secretarial/administrative support to sales & marketing employees
  • Uses business software applications (e.g., word processing, presentation and spreadsheet) to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, agendas, minutes, etc.
  • Receives, screens and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail and email
  • Maintains files, records, calendars and diaries
  • May arrange business travel, coordinate meeting arrangements, and/or track expenses
  • Performs a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another
  • Performs tasks with frequent interruptions or distractions
  • Adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Knowledge, Skill and Experience

  • 1-3 Years of relevant experience required, preferably in health care
  • High School/GED required, Associates degree is preferred
  • Previous experience with CRMs and customer database management/ACT Preferred
  • Superior telephonic communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

 

Physical & Visual Acuity Requirements

  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.
  • Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips.
  • Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word. Those activities in which they must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
